Who is Catherine's Distinctive Floral Designs?

Distinctive Floral Designs Master Designer and owner, Catherine Gustafson, has been an active designer in the floral industry for more than 35 years. Her involvement with flowers and plants however, bloomed much earlier than that, working in her parents' greenhouse while growing up.
She started her designing career in Ohio as an apprentice. She continued with it when she followed her husband to Virginia Beach in 1981. She has used her talents to expand her expertise and creativity in the ever changing floral industry.

In 1993, Catherine was awarded her FTD Master Designer designation. This prestigious title includes denotes not only the knowledge and understanding of the elements of design, but also an in-depth understanding of the care and handling of flowers.
She strives to add that a special touch to all wedding and party designs and is known for her exceptional attention to detail which ensures that all her creations reflect the individual hopes and desires of each bride and groom.
